mainly babies has been an absolute highlight helping first time mums connect more with their babies and with others. There is so much delight in the room – māmā participating in waiata and bonding with their pēpi. That’s what one mainly babies leader said. 

Starting Thursday 23 April and happening each week until Thursday 11 June from 12pm, this mainly babies is happening at Orewa Community Church. The session includes kai. You'll receive a bag of goodies, so you can continue the enjoyment of the waiata/rhymes at home.

There’s a few songs mentioning God, creation, or that you and pēpi are loved. There's also material that will encourage you to consider aspects of your mātua journey, and each session will start and conclude with karakia.

Dads, grandparents and caregivers are welcomed too.
